The Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) is the independent regulator for approximately 826,000 nurses and midwives in the UK and nursing associates in England. They aim to ensure safe, effective, and kind nursing and midwifery care for everyone.
For nearly four years now, NMC has partnered with CloudSource to address critical IT risks, leverage business data, and drive organisational change through effective change management. Our technology focus includes Microsoft Dynamics 365, Azure Services, and integration with various best-in-class business applications.

OFWAT
Water industry governance
Ofwat is a non-ministerial government department established in 1989 when the water and sewerage industry in England and Wales was privatised. Their vision is to make the greatest contribution possible to improving life through water.
Ofwat partnered with CloudSource to revolutionise their Citizen and Stakeholder Processes from an on-premises solution to the Microsoft Cloud. Leveraging Microsoft Dynamics 365 and a citizen-facing Power Platform Portal, we successfully modernised and innovated their core processes.
Now firmly established on the new business platform, Ofwat continues to benefit from our expertise, advice and guidance as we expand the platform’s reach across the organisation to drive business value and uphold transparency.

Driving high-speed innovation
HS2 Ltd, a non-departmental public body, is spearheading the development, construction, and operation of HS2—a transformative high-speed railway designed to connect London, Birmingham, Leeds, and Manchester while integrating the existing rail network.
In collaboration with CloudSource, HS2 has delivered multiple flagship infrastructure projects that met stringent safety regulations. The Technology focus has been on Dynamics 365, a partner-facing Power Platform portal and Internet of Things (IoT) devices that can monitor the rollout of the infrastructure and ensure site compliance.
Continuing our collaboration, CloudSource is guiding HS2 to expand its digital platform capabilities, integrating data from diverse sources and build on project successes.
PENSION PROTECTION FUND
Digitised essential business services
The Pension Protection Fund (PPF), a public corporation, safeguards individuals with 'defined benefit' pensions if their employer goes insolvent. As one of the UK's major pension providers, it oversees £33 billion in assets for more than 295,000 members.
PPF relies on complex applications to manage insolvency impacts on pension funds, evaluate fund alignment, and assess fund management capabilities. CloudSource is exceptionally proud to have partnered with PPF to modernise these systems and reduce technical debt.
Our certified consultants worked closely with PPF to design, develop and deploy upgraded applications using Dynamics 365 and the Power Platform. This modernisation delivered a unified view of PPF’s restructuring and insolvency processes, incorporating advanced document management and data collection. CloudSource won a public sector delivery award as a result of our work in this area.
